Flame & Frosting ("the App") is a birthday-candle app from Buddy Boo Productions. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is kept private.

Data collection

Your birthday information and gameplay stay on your device. The App does not send your birthday names, ages, wishes, preferences, or challenge scores to a Buddy Boo Productions server.

No accounts required

You do not need to create an account or sign in. Birthday names and ages are optional customization choices, not account details.

No analytics or tracking

The App does not include advertising networks or usage-analytics services and does not track your activity across other companies' apps or websites. It does not request your location.

Microphone

If you allow microphone access, the app uses live audio to detect a breath and respond to it. Audio samples are processed on your device and discarded. The app does not record, save, or upload microphone audio. You can decline or revoke microphone permission in your device settings. The birthday wish also has a tap option that does not require microphone access.

Your data

If you provide a birthday name or age, or change app preferences, those choices are saved locally on your device. Challenge progress and best scores are also stored locally. Flame & Frosting does not require an account, and this information is not sent to our server. You can remove the app and its locally stored information through your device settings.

Sharing and other services

When you choose to share a birthday image, the app creates it on your device and opens your device's share options. The destination app or service you choose handles what you share under its own privacy policy. App Store purchases and distribution are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. Flame & Frosting has no ads or in-app purchases and does not use your information for cross-app tracking.

The App's local-data statements do not describe information processed separately by Apple's App Store, your chosen sharing services, or the hosting provider when you visit this website. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

The App does not require children to create accounts or send personal information to Buddy Boo Productions. Any birthday name or age entered is stored locally. Parents or guardians can manage microphone permission in device settings and supervise sharing birthday images.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new revision date.
